Invest Alberta congratulates Ekium, a part of Snef Group, on establishing the headquarters of Ekium Canada in Calgary, marking the company’s first direct investment in Alberta and a key milestone in Snef Group’s North American growth. The Alberta headquarters announcement builds on Ekium’s strategic investment in Quebec-based Norda Stelo, a Canadian engineering firm with expertise in infrastructure, energy and natural resource projects across Canada and the United States.
By choosing Alberta, Ekium is bringing world-class engineering expertise to one of North America’s most dynamic energy and industrial markets, with capabilities that will help advance opportunities across traditional energy, emerging technologies, nuclear energy, and small modular reactors.
This approximately $10 million investment is expected to create at least 100 skilled jobs over the next three to five years, further strengthening Alberta’s engineering and project delivery ecosystem.
