CGC Inc., Canada’s largest manufacturer of gypsum-based building materials and a subsidiary of USG Corporation, has officially opened a new $210 million wallboard manufacturing facility in Wheatland County, Alberta. The state-of-the-art plant will produce Sheetrock® brand wallboard to serve housing, commercial construction and infrastructure markets across Western Canada, while creating nearly 100 full-time jobs in the region.
